Child Study Team
Child Study Team
The Child Study Team is made up of professionals who help identify areas of concern and intervent for students prior to a referral for special education evaluation. When a referral is made, members of the team study past records, confer with teachers and parents/guardians, and meet one-on-one with the student to try to ascertain the areas of concern. The team will then follow up with suggestions to the teacher and parent/guardians. In some cases, students may be referred for additional assessment and diagnostics to the Special Projects Coordinator.
